with OASIS FAMILY MINISTRIES
Great! You've found your way to the"Get Involved" page! We're so happy you've decided to check out the volunteer needs in Family Ministry. Let us start by letting you know of 4 things that every volunteer needs to do before they can qualify to work with the children:
- Attend Oasis for more than 3 months.
- Complete a Volunteer Application and pass a Background Check.
- Have an "interview" with a ministry leader.
- Must be at least 12 years old to volunteer as an assistant or helper and 18 years old to be a lead teacher.
Now, no need to get nervous about the "interview". Basically, we just want to go have a cup of coffee and get to know you. We beleive that working with the children at Oasis is a privilege. Ministry leaders and volunteers are responsible for partnering with parents in the spiritual development of the children at Oasis. This is a place to serve where the seeds you plant today will someday flourish in the lives of countless people.
Nursery/Preschool:
Elementary:
Youth Helper: Responsible for assisting Lead Teacher. Must be at least 12 years old.
