Kalapuya is west Salem's newest elementary school where caring energetic faculty and staff are teaching our next generation of leaders and world changers. Oasis is committed to helping them do it by organizing monthly work teams to help teachers prepare and organize projects and supplies and support special school projects.

Ike Quest - Safe Families Partnership

Oasis is on the verge of an exciting and unique partnership with downtown Salem's Ike Quest and the new Mid Willamette Valley chapter of Safe Families for Children, which is the body of Christ's alternative to the state's foster care system. Interested families within Oasis will train to be a 'Safe Family' and provide a nurturing environment for the youth participating in Ike Quest who need a safe and healthy place to stay.

Road Works Partnership
Location: KwaMhlanga, South Africa

Oasis will send a team to work with Road Works missionary Randy Finkbeiner in June 2012 where they will put on a Vacation Bible School for the neighborhood children during their winter break and meet and serve the people of KwaMhlanga. Last May, a scout team spent two weeks with Randy and was able to witness the amazing work he and Road Works sponsors have contributed to over the last seven years, including the construction of an AIDS hospice and orphan care centers and the construction and operation of a neighborhood church and preschool.
